Our low gluten wafers are approved for use in the Catholic Mass. This low gluten host is made of wheat, starch and water. Baking is done in a dedicated bakery totally free of contaminants with equipment that is only dedicated to low gluten baking, and is not used for regular altar bread production.
The gluten content of our low gluten wafer is below 20 parts per million making it truly gluten free. However due to FDA regulations, we cannot label these breads gluten free because they are made from wheat.
Each wafer is neatly individually wrapped to prevent cross contamination in transit and during storage.
