This 51% beeswax Mount Olivet paschal candle refers to the mount of olives, surmised to be and designated by tradition to be the site at which the disciples, the believers, witnessed the ascension of Christ into heaven completing the work of our redemption. The ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ depicted as this Paschal design in high relief castings of wax, all with a richly burnished bronze finish.
